Mud, Blood, and Stone
Into The Mud is an OSR TRRPG adventure for 1st level players set on a small village at risk of starvation due to trade restrictions and monster attacks, as well as the emergence of dark powers within. It includes one settlement with two dungeons filled by dangerous creatures roaming around marshy areas; four event locations that can be triggered based off player actions or random chance (like an ever-ticking clock); 10 stat blocks for monsters which include weaknesses to certain elements like fire and holy power, as well a table of monster attributes. Magic items are also included with different effects depending on their rarity level within the game; three magic item tables that can be used in combat and equipment options during events/encounters such as using an enchanted sword or ring for additional damage when fighting monsters to wearing heavy armor which has its own magical abilities (like a +2 bonus dice roll). The adventure also includes notes, random tables like one with treasure hoards scattered throughout the dungeon floor that need be collected before moving on; and finally four different event calendars where players can see what events are coming up in their area.
