Once a year as spring turns into summer and the season of festivals comes about, Tallwater hosts an
annual celebration that brings together villagers from throughout their land for three days filled
with foodstuffs (especially those harvested), games, contests featuring folkloric creatures such as
dragonflies or wood nymphs in small cages suspended between trees. The centerpiece is a massive fire
made out of the rare and golden flowers native to forested areas nearby that burns deep into giant
wicker effigies full of mythical beings until they're consumed by ashes at which point villagers
entrust those remains for safekeeping with hedge wizard Leftwine who spends summer months wandering
through the labyrinths beneath the trees, scattering them throughout a magical talisman. The first
day is always spent enjoying food and drink in celebration while on second day visitors can join
competitions featuring such creatures as dragonflies or wood nymphs to win prizes like rare flowers
