The player takes on multiple roles as three characters who are trapped together, each of which is trying to escape from an underground facility where they were all captured by a Dr. Stillman's top- secret research project called "The Crucible Program." Players must navigate the game through various obstacles including dangerous mazes and combat scenarios while also unlocking their traits that will help them survive in these challenges.
