The Fool's Journey is a game for two or more people, where one player plays the fortune-telling Witch while another seeks their services but has hidden something secret themselves (the Trickster). Players use cards to create an imaginary spread of four different images and meanings on separate cards. They take turns drawing card combinations from both hands onto eight real cards in a predetermined order: 1–2, 3–4; 2–3, 4–5; etc., until they have 20 total cards for the game (with or without the Trickster). The player with more wins takes all four imaginary treasures and any other resources on their side.The Fool's Journey is designed to be a quick two-player card party that requires minimal setup time but can offer hours of entertainment depending on your group dynamic preferences such as collaborative, competitive, solo play or even team versus individual playing style (depending which cards are drawn by each player).
