"WILDERNESS ADVENTURES IN THE RUINS OF AN EMPIRE" - A Micro Campaign Setting for the Cricket Creek Hollow village in an alternate history world that was once ruled by a powerful empire two hundred years ago; this micro campaign setting can be used with any Shadowdark RPG compatible game, and it includes background information on Belirian Empire, The Great Growth of Wildwood from "The Arcane Library," NPCs/PC name generators for the village, four being monsters to introduce into gameplay, hex crawling treasure tournament events organized by an NPC in his tavern named Gazetteer (who is not a PC), and player character equipment such as weapons, armor, magical items or potions.
