Willow is a grim backwater micro setting set in an island-like area with one colorbook and 32 pages. It features random encounter tables of new monsters along with monster factions, various NPCs with desires, fears, mannerisms, shops/inns that sell equipment for the adventurers to use on their travels or at home during downtime, a river running through town leading up into an underground dungeon filled with aquatic creatures called Deepwater Caves. The village has its own history and time line of events happening daily in different ways depending on players' actions while visiting Willow's various shops/inns for supplies such as food (at the Blue Brew Inn), magical plants, or even items to help them navigate through this new adventure into an unknown area with their party members. There is also a mystery that needs solving involving strange noises coming from down below in town and what happened at one of the stone circles on nearby hills leading up to more important matters such as acquiring food for all who travel to Willow or other travelers passing by during high season, while they offer lodging places like The Blue Horseshoe Inn. Overall it is a small but intricate setting with several unique elements that players can interact and make choices based off of in this adventure into the unknown waters surrounding WilloW
