The gods made the world, but war broke out between them leading to destruction in cities across lands where magic was once harnessed by worshipers of these deities who battled each other for control over it causing chaos on both sides resulting ultimately with death among their followers. Now without divine guidance and protection from a weakened god residing at an angel-guarded palace, surviving the city can be difficult due to its dangerous environment filled with roaming trolls as well as hostile angels struggling against madness caused by losing faith in these gods who once ruled over them before they perished or became ill themselves through their wounds.
