The GM plays the Love Interest and narrator of a visual novel game, while the player characters play the “Routes” - the Love Interest’s potential soulmates, pining for the Love Interest’s affection. The game takes place over several Scenes, in which the Love Interest experiences fateful encounters with the prospective Routes. Routes of Love is a TTRPG centered on the idea of playing through a visual novel from the perspective of the romantic routes.
