Spliced provides rules so that the players and the GM have something to work off of to tell the story they want to tell. A game can be set in the trenches of WW1, fighting horrible zombies created by the gas warfare. That means that it is made so that any table can tell the story they’d like to tell without having to worry about sticking to any ‘official’ lore or flavor.
