Habitation is a sci-fi narrative exploration game of traversing dangerous environments in order to make discoveries, complete missions, and ultimately get out from under the tyranny of corporate debt.  Very little to no prep is needed to run the game, it operates out of the box as a solo game, and it can be played as a one-shot or as a longer campaign. This game is exploded from Meguey & Vincent Baker’s Otherkind Dice and inspired by Bennett and Huettner’s Scavengers Reign, Tuesday Knight Games’ Mothership, and Minnesota Educational Computing Consortium’s The Oregon Trail. Included in the files are all the the rules, printables, and reference sheets you need.
