They can be used on the cards as well as the box you print for them. The simple ones have only a single large pip in the center (as well as the two corner pips), and the normal cards have the correct number of pips and images of chess pieces for the noble cards and jokers. Don't bend the top cover until the rest of the box is done with cards inside, this makes a better bend.
