Inspired by the horror folktale Bluebeard, Full of Strange Oaths hands control of the story over to one of Bluebeard’s former wives just days before she meets her fate. Through a combination of journaling prompts and immersive suggestions, the player is led through Bluebeard’s castle, discovering secrets along the way. Full of Strange Oaths is designed to be abstract, open to interpretation, and leave more questions than it answers. The experience is what the player makes of it.
