AD371. Martin of Tours – the man who would become the patron saint of beggars, soldiers, innkeepers, horses, winemakers, reformed alcoholics, and all of France – is hiding in a shed. Agents of the church are seeking to consecrate him as a Bishop, but he is uninterested in a life of ecumenical politics.
However: there are geese in the shed. Disturbed by his presence, they honk and draw the attention of his pursuers, who ordain him against his wishes.
YOU are a fragment of the Lord God’s divine will made earthly in the form of A FOURTH-CENTURY GOOSE, and you must guide Martin towards his rightful sainthood via a series of convoluted schemes.
A very serious game about the early Catholic church.
