This is an overlay for the game Cthulhu Dark that uses Lovecraftian horror themes to interrogate queer assimilationism through the lens of Fire Island Pines. The Pines is a tongue-in-cheek horror game that tasks players with creating a vacationer and setting out in the small island town of Fire Island Pines to find their missing friend before The Pines Party - only the party of the summer. This is a pamphlet version with all the necessary setting materials for both players and a facilitator — perfect for a one-shot, a con game or to maximize portability!
