Hardship River is an adventure game with no MC in which the player takes on various characters traveling down dangerous rapids of river, hoping to reach their final destination by seaside. The gameplay involves overcoming obstacles and navigating through lies or misunderstandings while maintaining trust between strangers despite varying backgrounds. It's a one-page RPG inspired from local history that can be adapted for other campaigns in any setting before the safer times when dams were built on rivers.
