  Each character has three Astral Signs tied to a school of magic that determine a part of who they are, based on the circumstances of their birth. This is a loosely designed tool for giving an alternative means of creating a character’s personality based on a fictional astrology system using schools of magic found in various media. Use this for inspiring player characters and NPCs alike.
