In Blade's of Ether (BoE), players take on the role of Blades or Bearers who embark into a magical world made up entirely out of clouds known as Arlest Cloud Sea populated with Titans that wield blades which are gems produced from their bodies, and have souls. As partners bound by magic covenant they travel across an expansive setting building connections through storytelling where the GM takes control to create different paths for them in each adventure resulting in exciting moments along the way such as fighting off dangerous foes or discovering new worlds full of wonders with a simple system that has dice rolling mechanics set against grids and storyteller-driven events.
