The story follows an immortal narrator who has lived through several centuries and is now living in twilight. The player creates their own avatar character, which must navigate this new world while also maintaining relationships with other characters from previous stories that they have written or discovered during travels around the galaxy to different planets. Alongside exploration of unknown worlds on maps created by an AI program called Twilight Song Generator Toolset (TSGT), players create and draw story cards featuring people in their lives, complete rituals associated with these figures along a timeline stretching into future times where old stories will continue playing out through new characters yet unmet or undiscovered.
