The basic idea behind "Tea with Friends" is that it's a solo tabletop role-playing cardgame where players lay down cards from their tea shelf to interact, connect, talk about friendship or romantic relationships. It also includes prompts such as asking for advice on starting and maintaining friendships, being honest in love stories involving friends/family members, talking through problems with close companions over cups of steaming hot brews like Earl Grey (or whatever they may have), bonding by having a long conversation where the player has an excuse to connect while sipping their tea. The game is designed for 1-2 players and requires only Tarot Deck cards or Tokens + Writing Tools, as well as Book file format PDF/TXT files of flavor text with prompts that can be expanded upon through playing sessions in which each card represents a conversation between the player themselves (as they grow and expand their relationships) and other characters from around them.
