The Truth About Jevallik follows two characters who meet in an unlikely way. One character was once part of a religious community but left due to their beliefs being questioned, while the other is determined not to be swayed by religion despite his faithfulness and devotion towards it at first glance or appearance. THEME: Religion vs Non-BeliefSCENE 1 - A church service in progress with people attending; one of them starts talking about how he left a long time ago, but the other character is still partaking in religious practices as if nothing has happened and goes unnoticed by others (except for being an oddity). This sets up their relationship. SCENE 2 - The two characters meet at different times or places; one invites another to attend church with them while on a walk, but the other declines due to having no interest in religion whatsoever despite appearances otherwise -- even if they go out of character for him later (in this case it is an old man who becomes more religious)
