In Expedition To Skull Island (ETSI), you take on the role as captain in an exciting long-form tabletop game, where players explore various environments around Skuul island and earn treasure points based on their success while exploring it using a pre-drawn map or randomizing hex maps. There are three different roles to choose from: Pirate, Privateer, or Explorer with each having its own scoring system for final results in the adventure's conclusion depending upon how you perform during gameplay playtime.
