Menageriene of the Void is an adventure game where players take control as keeper for an ancient menagerie that has been dormant since its creation by long-gone civilization and are transported to interstellar space aboard their ship, which suddenly malfunctions causing them to lose consciousness. They wake up in a rusty hall filled with old engines before being greeted by robotic voices from the dead spaceship's systems who offer assistance but also warn about an alien presence on Earth that has integrated itself into your system. The game is licensed under CC BY 4.0 and offers players inspiration similar to "Stewtopia" of Voayage To Stars, Star Control 2 or Weiird Worlds: Return to Infinite Space while playing as a keeper for the zoo's sad exhibits like in Mothership games where you manage them but this time from an alternative storyline perspective such that they were abandoned by their creators and are now living out their last days.
