The Chronicler is a character in this Sword & Sandal RPG who takes on an ancient world full of wonder, while Players create Heroes to explore it and experience danger together through their adventures. Inspired by various works such as "What's So Cool About Outer Space?" by Jared Sinclair, the game features six-sided dice d6 inspired by several sources including Into The Bronze: Redhack from Micah Anderson; Swords Without Master: Epidiha Ravochol and Joshua A C Newman (both of which are published in Sword & Sandal RPG); "Bloody Handeld Name" for the game's title, as well as works such Robert E. Howard who is a famous author known for his sword-and-sandal stories that were inspired by ancient times during battles fought between men and beasts armed with swords of bronze metal or sharpened spears called "maul."
