These rules are intended to provide groups with a framework for handling the time between adventures and give players a mechanical incentive to pursue various leads and relationships they may have picked up over the course of their adventures. The Guide using these rules is encouraged to use as many or few of them as they please and in whatever way best fits their table, but it's recommended to give your players two or three downtime actions between each adventure to help them pursue personal goals and prepare for what is to come. Everyone needs some time between adventures to pursue personal goals, catch up with old friends, or just blow off some steam.
