The theme is overbearing in affection, another concept also familiar to Turkish culture. The inspiration behind it was the ambiguity in the Turkish word "hortlak", as it is used to talk about both  ghosts and walking corpses.   Haunting Concern is a quick, two player storytelling game about the spirit of a recently dead person, trying to stop a loved one, who will spend the next two nights preparing for a bold, dangerous yet potentially rewarding move that they had a falling out over, shortly before said death.
