Dead Emperors
You open the crypt and the stench of unleashed centuries fills your nostrils. The light from your torch flickers weakly as you step towards the tomb, every inch of its stonework finely crafted to fill you with awe. You touch the inscription, taking the dust and cobwebs away. The story of another Dead Emperor has been chiseled into immortal granite beneath your fingertips. Here lies… Dead Emperors is a history-building game designed to be used with tabletop roleplaying games or as a standalone storytelling experience. It involves telling stories about the dead monarchs of your world and their legacies. It will shape the present of your game by building its past.
