Project AnimuS is a role-playing adventure boardgame that allows players to play in realms beyond fantasy and create their own stories with customizable creatures from one of nine different templates created by the game's creator based on real life species such as dragons, griffins or even some mythical beasts. It also features an advanced character creation system where characters have both personal and campaign beats they seek out which shape the direction and tone alike while allowing players to advance their abilities through story beat advancement systems in exchange for negotiated favors that can be swapped frequently during gameplay. The game is designed with tactical combat without needing mini-maps or markers, giving it a high replay value experience where choices made determine flow of action economy within battles powered by pass initiative system.
