Timespell is an adventure-style roleplaying game for 2–5 players set in the dystopian future of Earth where time warps agents into alternate timelines as they work together to thwart their enemies' attempts at altering history's timeline and disrupting society by sending a message back through timestreams. The GM, or Weaver (guiding player), serves both roles: narrator/expert guidebook authoring events happening in the game world while also acting like an AI system that keeps track of everything going on during play sessions within each scenario-based event card pack and offers prompts for players to use their actions against these cards. The objective is not only defeating enemies but working together with other agents from different timelines, as well as sabotaging one's own timeline by sending a message through the timestreams that alters future events or creates dangerous conditions in present time loops.
