Space Legs is a game about building relationships between crew members during space exploration while dealing with loneliness caused by the isolated nature of life on other planets or starships, as well as navigating conflicts that may arise. The gameplay involves rolling dice to determine how each member interacts and makes decisions together in order to complete tasks related to maintaining their ship's equipment, repairing damage from dangerous alien encounters (known as "pains"), trading resources with nearby stations for supplies needed on the mission or waiting out time during interstellar travel while still being able-bodied. Players must also work within a limited crew environment without any direct contact between players and communicate via radio transmissions to share their experience points gained, which can then be traded in later missions if desired by all members of the party (for additional rewards).
