The Wild West is a place of danger and excitement. The players step into the roles of either, The Storyteller; the game's narrator who sets up scenes and conflict, or The Gunslingers; the adventurers that will face all manner of danger in the Wild West. Unlike most RPGs where you roll dice to find out if a character succeeds at an action, success in Last Shot depends on the players spend their resources.
