Rising Dark is a two-player game designed specifically for mail delivery, where players use playing cards as prompts to write and send letters of their own agents working at the behest of mysterious organization known simply as "The Sect." Players receive sealed folders containing assignments from The Sect on a regular basis. Each letter written must be accompanied by an enclosed card that serves as inspiration while creating your reply in Rising Dark's unique system, where players draw cards themselves to guide character creation and responses without relying upon GMs or the game itself for prompts within envelopes sent via mail each week throughout Los Angeles' streets of darkness.
