Where the oil is thick, the dust is thicker, and the sweat is thickest of all. In this download are seven backgrounds for Player Characters in Troika (the Other World's favorite roleplaying game). They are themed around a novel micro-setting, the eponymous Republic of Toil. This micro-setting could be as small as a single oil field, or as large as a planet.
