The Gold Hack is a simplified version of the Burning Wheel RPG game system by Luke Crane that takes inspiration from other BWHQ games and focuses on themes such as burning passion, tragedy, comedy, fantasy to create an enjoyable experience for players who are familiar with at least one similar gaming franchise.This document does not teach you how play RPGs but assumes some familiarity in creating characters or understanding the role of a GM/player-character relationship that is played like any other game by all participants including nonfans and fans alike, although it's clear to see why this specific hack was made from reading its introduction which highlights these core points.
