SPACER has been designed to provide a set of rules for running old school science fiction adventures inspired by KNAVE with minimalism and fast playability that suits both new players or short games where character creation is important but the number of characters needs are limited, as it can be played without classes. The game features compatibility with most OSR-style settings such a space adventure modules while weapons, armour items have few changes to use in gameplay. No skills required for PCs except survival techniques and attitude determined by equipment carried along which determines role within party based on technology acquired during playtime together as group rather than system of leveling up like classes offered in other games with no dice or skill checks are used instead; optional player-facing rolls allow players who lack the necessary experience to take control over rolling process. All items and combat encounters can be purchased for credits, which is equivalent to one copper piece from Knave's game mechanics.
