In the times Anno Ante Plaga, I ran a home game of 5e D&D (because it's what my players were familiar with), somewhat modified (because it wouldn't be my first choice of system, even without contemplating the corporation which produces it and the moral character of the permanent employees thereof). (If you're familiar with my zine Spindrift, you've already seen many of them in some form. Herein is presented a simplification of the D&Dlike system of "spell levels", plus 39 spells, rich with implied worldbuilding, drawn directly from that game.
