TRUNK
A story about a wealthy businessman who has hired someone to drive his car from California to New York City for $1 million. The journey takes them on the road with their own unique adventures while being monitored by an FM radio that randomizes progression and adds elements of horror, exploitation, violence, trafficking, bleeding in between chapters depending upon choices made at various points during play-throughs using a dual PDF format consisting both digital and scanned Risograph printouts. The story follows the lives as they are driven from city to town along highways with no rest stops or breaks until arriving into New York City for final delivery of car by driver/passenger facilitator while facing potential obstacles, complications arising from choices made during play-throughs in this interactive fiction ziine using a randomization based on an FM radio that offers varying events. The story takes the player through various sections such as horror (trauma and bleeding), exploitation for profit involving violence against women or children with human trafficking themes throughout their journey, money/wealth related problems like greed, power struggles between characters in addition to moral dilemmas relating to killing innocent civilians.
