In the postapocalyptic world in which you live after the sun has set on your generation long ago, people have taken to living underground in dark caves that they call "Arx." They built three great bastions as safe havens from dangers aboveground and created a system of High Roads between them. However, safety comes at cost: passage by these roads takes weeks or longer for some travelers who cannot wait any more than necessary. You are hired to delve into the evil depths in order to deliver urgent messages through an old-school roleplaying game inspired by ArkaNe Studios' Arx Fatalis and tabletop gaming games from that era, using Tarot cards instead of dice as you navigate a dangerous world filled with cultists, ratfolk, Ylseian Knights, and more.
