I ran many games using the core system and eventually I wanted to mesh the rules with my preferred 'old school' style of play. This is the result, originally published in 2009, but cleaned up and a few typos fixed. Risus, one of the most influential indie games ever created, had a huge influence on my gaming after my D&D fallout in the mid-2000s.
