The station's inhabitants include people born into deck assignments, each specializing in certain areas such as agriculture worker or administrator for managing production processes on decks like the food-processing facility Deck B. Missions take place during downtime intervals between events and are designed to tackle a wide range of issues including sabotage attempts by rival companies seeking resources from nearby planets with valuable minerals that can be traded back into space, sabotaged power plants in order to reduce global access to reliable energy sources for people on the station, and criminal organizations looking to disrupt industrial activities. Collaborative gameplay involves creating NPCs such as vendors selling goods or services aboard stations like Deck A's retail outlet deck where players interact with crew members and other characters that are randomly generated during missions but can be custom-designed by each player before starting their character creation process for easier onboarding in the station of various sizes depending on game play.
