Beyond the Fencen, Below The Grave is a tabletop RPG inspired by pre-medieval Scandinavian magic and mythology. Players take on roles as practitioners of this mysterious practice who investigate supernatural disturbances using their magical abilities to determine what kind of entity caused them and repair any damage done before performing a ritual for greater harmony between worlds in another dimension called the afterlife (or "the grave"). The game features four unique players, each with seven superpowers. It also offers an extensive bestiary filled with ten Otherworldly threats ranging from ghosts to monsters created by practitioners of magic. Players use Season's Houses and sample scenarios as they build relationships within their group before heading out on adventures together through a series of quests in various locations throughout the realm where players can gather information, interact with NPCs (non-player characters), face challenges posed by bosses or other foes that threaten to harm them all too much for comfort. In this game's storyline are numerous twists and turns as well; however it is up to individual playstyle how many of these may be included in the group
