The game is designed to capture a child's excitement in trick-or-treating, where the player acts as
children going on their first time without adult supervision at nightfall into neighborhoods with
monsters lurking around corners and trees that are haunted by ghosts of previous years. Players
collect treats from different houses during daytime hours while battling spooky creatures through
nighttime raids using a deck of cards marked to act like playing money markers, hidden in pockets or
under covers where they can be found without being seen until the player is ready for action against
various monsters around and inside neighborhoods before returning home at bedtime. The game includes
an additional feature with tokens acting as temporary play-money items which players use when needed
during gameplay while their hands are on a treasure chest filled up by collecting treats to increase
chances of finding special cards or playing money in the future, but they will eventually have to be
returned after being used for better chance at getting rarer card types. The game is aimed towards
children's playtime and designed using Carta System from Peach Garden Games under Creative Commons
Attribution license with an additional feature added by Cat McDonald which includes more items like
small tokens or coins hidden in the same manner as playing money but will be returned after used for
better chances at getting rarer card types.
