The game is played alone with GM guidance when the player desires more control of their actions while solo play allows for greater creativity, or on guided servers by an experienced group which can lead them towards success if they understand and follow certain steps in each investigation phase as well as engaging blackjack at a parlor scene to see effects upon communities involved.
