Prime Material is a fantasy RPG published by Michael Hansen in 2014. The game has 64 pages of content and features abstract arena action, 13 new spells for tactical melee rules like Dungeons & Dragons 4th Edition (D&D), 5 companion creatures with unique backgrounds to play around with, monster templates at different power tiers such as 1-4 HD or 7 HD HPs, labor knight's dumplings stew recipe in the vein of Medieval Times' medieval fare dish "Stew," and a list of over 20 new monsters. The game is not affiliated with either Melisende Arts Council nor DemiCriminels Publishing but rather created by Michael Hansen himself under his pseudonym James Burtner (also known as Jakob Vig).
