After a session I update the file to show how the characters have progressed and when the sheet looks tired and worn out I print out a fresh one. I have a printout of each of these ready for every session so if someone new comes to the table I have a whole stack of characters for them to choose from. These are the iconic characters for Torchbearer RPG from the the Dungeoneer's Handbook, Loremaster's Manual and Scavenger's Supplement on Excel character sheets with conditional formatting to show where a character's condition is impacting their performance.
