Nighthawks is an immersive storytelling RPG about lonely people grappling with their solitude in small towns or cities across America circa 1939. The game focuses on personal growth and exploring characters' inner demons while maintaining a safe environment for players to connect through roleplaying, improvisation, writing prompts from the rulebook, and sharing character stories during group nights together after playing sessions are over (admittingly immersive interstitial pages). By confronting their loneliness head-on in Nighthawks, lonely people can take risks that may be too scary or daunting elsewhere.
