As a result, I raided some of the old board games in the house for dice and created this very simple system so that we could play. This system exists because I somehow convinced my family members, who are not gamers, to play a Call of Cthulhu one-shot during Christmas 2021. I didn’t have any of my sourcebooks, and I knew that subjecting them to the full character creation process would drain their tentative enthusiasm pretty quickly.
