* Tactical Battlescape includes a hex variapn for the map, with an additional hex that is not shown on standard maps of this size or larger (16" x 24"). This is intended to be used in conjunction with "Tactical Map Variations". Additionally, it features different movement and attacking rules than normal tactical games. It also has a unique combat system where players may attack targets only within the squares they can see their weapon's range from them, as well as have Ranged Defense on melee weapons that reduce damage based on distance between themselves to attackers in adjacent hexes (and other factors). Finally, it includes various mechanics and features intended for more complex tactical battles.
