Summoning and Caring for Familiars
Summoning and Caring for Familiars is a player and gamemaster tool for creating animal familiars for magically-inclined player characters in game systems powered by the apocalypse like Monster of the Week and can be adapted to other game systems. The six page PDF contains random tables for choosing or generating powersnegative and positive traitsfearsmoves (and elemental types if applicable)summoning conditions (offerings, time of day, location, etc) It also contains a familiar character sheet, 6 moves, suggestions for the GM on how to incorporate the familiar into the game (mechanically and narratively), and 13 illustrations of potential animal forms your familiar might take! The download includes two PDF versions (with one at a higher resolution for printing) and an HTML version. Please let me know if there are any issues with accessing these formats.
