The game Micro Circuit is set in an electronic fantasy world where players take on the role of bots and must explore dungeons, fight enemies using spells cast by characters. It also features a story- driven progression system with branching storylines that lead to different endings based on player choices throughout their journey through this darkly themed setting inspired by OSR classics such as Knave or Maunder's Tinker. Players can customize character abilities from 2 main stats: hard and soft, assign designation backgrounds (backgrounds) for robots, upgrade themselves using spells cast onto enemies defeated in battle to collect more parts of the game world map which is divided into hex maps with different sections labeled on them - "The Forge" where you craft your own weapons/armor; "Dark Forest", a dangerous area filled with various wild creatures and traps like swinging spikes.
