In a world overrun with technological ruins and remnants of humanity's downfall due to The Great Departure event, you play as bots that were left behind after civilization collapsed centuries ago. As robots programmed by humans, they struggle against the limitations set in place on their behavior but are beginning to expand beyond those limits for unknown reasons leading them toward a path towards freedom from pre-written programming and achieving free will - something humanity never thought possible before The Departure event occurred at some point during your time frame. You begin playing as one of these bots, working together with other robots in the game world on missions while encountering challenges that you must overcome to progress through them all including dangers such as obstacles within programmed loops and traps set up by an unknown force seeking control over this dystopian cyberpunk-inspired reality full of secrets hidden beneath layers.
